of deaths by suicide worldwide are men.
This is not a coincidence. This is a call to action.
A Strong Man Hugs exists to confront the silence, shame, and toxic mythology surrounding masculinity, and replace it with something truer and more powerful: connection.
Our message is simple. A strong man hugs his children to show them that love and leadership are the same thing. He hugs his partner when the world closes in. He holds his family together not through dominance, but through presence. And when he himself is breaking, a strong man lets another man hold him, and in that moment, finds the strength to stand again.
A Strong Man Hugs is a call to awareness, fellowship, and community for men, and for all those who carry a man in their heart.
To show them that love and leadership are the same thing. Strength is handed down through presence, not power.
When life's pains become too heavy, he holds on. He is not the wall. He is the anchor.
Sometimes the man is all that stands between the world and the people he loves. In desperation, he holds them strong and makes it through.
Men are too often scared, and act out pretending to be strong. Sometimes a man needs another man to grab him, hold him, and say: I got you. Rest on me.
Men's mental health is a global crisis that is under-discussed, under-funded, and under-acknowledged. These numbers represent real lives.
